BOLOGNESE:

TO: Jarbeth's Kennel

We are writing this letter to share with you how absolutely thrilled we are with Conner (our Bolognese).  We cannot imagine a greater pet!  He is so wonderfully loving and responsive.  He has been such a joy in our lives.  He is an amazingly smart and attentive dog and we can't take him anywhere without someone stopping us and asking us what breed he is and where we got him.  We do not have children but anytime a friend visits with children or we are out and he sees them, he goes crazy.  He loves kids and seems to understand that he must be more gentle and calm with them.  He has the most amazing coat of beautiful white hair and we are thrilled that he does not shed.  He is definitely what you told us he would be and much more.  We are so thankful for our little Conner and can't imagine life without him!  We look forward to purchasing our next Bolognese from you!

Thank you so much!!

Teddy is doing very well. Here's a photo that I took last week of him with his new collar.

I am making his photo album and was wondering which of the Bolognese were his parents on your website.  Is his dad Hubi?  And is his mom Opal or Abalone?

I really love Teddy alot.  He's my best friend and I come home from work every day for lunch to take him out and feed him lunch.  I have to wean myself off of spending too much time at home with him and toughen up because my social life is non-existent now! :)

Take care and looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi...Parker is doing great!  He is loving his new home and making all the adjustments.  We have all had such a fun week.  Everyone loves him.  He is such a happy little fellow.  I play tennis out of a park called Judd Park...(we are the Parkettes).  So the team has taken him on as our mascott.  Judson Parker is his full name, But we just call him Parker.  He made a hit at team practice last Thursday.

He is eating very well and on a great schedule.  So far no problems...

I just wanted you to know how much we are enjoying him.  Thank-you so much for your TLC and sending him to us.

We are very Happy!  Thanks, Chris

Troy and Bethany,

Hello, I wanted to share a picture of Sugar so you can see how well loved he is. I love him so much as he loves me.  He follows me all around the house.  I received a call from a buyer asking questions about a Bolognese that he purchased last night.  I assured him that if he purchased from you he has done business with professionalism and honesty.  I also explained that I also was very skeptical doing business on the internet and not seeing what I paid for.  After talking with him for quite some time on the telephone, he felt very positive and happy about his purchase.  I told him he made a great purchase from great people and said that Jarbeth's kennel was the best! .  I want to thank you for trusting me as I trusted you.  I will send you an update photo of Sugar soon.  He is great!!!  Any time at all you want to use me for a reference, please feel free.

Have a wonderful day!

Dear Jarbeth's Kennel,

I just want to give you a quick update on Rex - boy are we in love with our little man.  He has become a joy to my family.  He is so loving, smart, energetic, and actually quite funny.  I would recommend you to anyone looking for a healthy well adapted puppy.  Rex loves all animals and gets along so well with kids and strangers.  Rex is the best dog for my family, he doesn't shed, bark, or require a lot of space.  We love him so much and could not imagine our lives without him.

Thanks so much...

Dear Bethany,

Just wanted to drop you a note to tell you how things are going with our girl Mia.  We have always been large dog lovers.  Small dogs are usually hyper, yappy, and not that good with a lot of people.  Then we got Mia.  She never barks other than to talk and tell you she wants her breakfast or she wants our big dog to do something that she does not want to do.  She is the epitome of a "go anywhere dog".  When I go to tennis, she goes with me in her airline style carry case and it sits in the shade on the picnic table and she watches us play tennis for the next few hours.  Well that is not always the case because if there are people around, they ask if Mia can come out and play with them so they often babysit Mia.  I had a wicker basket installed on my bicycle so I put a harness on Mia which I attach to the basket, and Mia rides for hours with me in the basket.  She also likes the boat, and swims in our pool.  She is quite the swimmer.  When we first got her she was too small to fit in the smallest lifejacket so she learned to swim without one.  Now she fits in the jacket and she looks like a windup toy that was dropped in the pool as she quietly moves around.  She has never shown any fear of the water even when she fell in a few times while playing on the edge and did a nose dive under the water.  The one problem with a small white dog is that she gets into dirty things and oft times needs some cleaning. Well I just drop her in the kitchen sink and turn the water onto warm and clean and shampoo her with the sink spray.  She stands and waits and then she shakes and we wrap her in a towel which she loves.  Sometimes we use the blow dryer on low heat and she thinks that is neat.

Last weekend we had a wedding and a party at our house so for four days we had a barrage of people.  Mia loves her crates but whenever I looked someone had taken her out of the crate so they could play with Mia.  No one believes that she is just a four month old puppy because she will quietly lie on anyone's lap and just put her head on their arm.  Now when it is time to play, she will entertain herself and run around in all directions.  All our guests this past weekend commented on the fact that she was not like their image of a small dog.  They were so astounded at how quiet and laid back she was.

I almost forgot to tell you that she goes in all stores that allow dogs and when I am trying on clothes she just sits on the bench in the dressing room on top of the clothes I took off.  She is a companion dog.  Also, I thought you could use the info we received today that Mia had achieved her UKC championship for your bragging rights.

Hi Troy & Beth,

I just had to write to thank you for my little Gia.  I can't begin to tell you the amount of comments I get from people when I take her out for her daily walk.  She was already well socialized the day I picked her up from the airport.

I will highly recommend your kennel pups to anyone who asks.  I am enclosing a picture that you can put on your website so prospective buyers can see what a Bolognese looks like when they get older.  She is almost 5 months here and according to my vet is probably full grown.

Thanks again!!

Hi Bethany and Troy and kids,

One year ago my dad and I visited you in Salem to see a puppy.  In February you met my parents and handed over "Toby".  One year later Toby is healthy, happy and a wonderful companion.  Both of my parents love him.

Mom is doing great.  This little guy gives her a lift every day.  She laughs and walks a lot more than she did a year ago.  He has been a real blessing to them and to me.

Thank you.  Toby is everything I hoped he would be.  He's an intelligent, fun little guy.

Dear Jarbeth,

Thank you so much for Oscar (named after Oscar Mayer Bologna since he is a Bolognese!)  He was easily adjusted to his new home the day he arrived and even knew where to potty.  He has been such an angel and everyone adores him no matter where he is.  I can't seem to not bring him anywhere I go and he follows me everywhere.  He is a perfectly loyal companion.

I would also like to mention that you were very helpful and patient with all my questions before I received Oscar.  All the information provided in the e-mails and in the website were useful.  Thank you again.

Beth,

I wanted to thank you for contacting me about this precious puppy I now own.  He is adorable and is a very good companion.  Everyone here where I live that has made contact with him just adores him.  I named him Muzby and he has the best temperament I have experience with any pet I owned.  I took him to the Vet on Monday and the veterinarian gave him a clean bill of health.  The vet also mentioned that he knows the veterinarian at the Rolla Animal Hospital and said he is a very good vet.  I had Muzby groomed today and he is adorable.  I will send you a picture as soon as I take one of him.  It was a struggle getting to know his potty habits outside, but he has adjusted quite well.  I was a little worried about the crate training, but I have left him in there before leaving for work and he also has adjusted well to it.  I couldn't ask for a better pet.  My apartment manager has really taken a liking to him as well as other renters he has met.  Thank you for giving me the dream of pet ownership again.

Dear Grandma,

I just wanted to thank you for sending me to this nice family in Buffalo.  I think it snowed last night, this city is a dump.  But, the new family I am with is just so nice.  I have my own little crate that I get to sleep in and I have many new brothers and sisters.  There is my brother, a doggie, his name is Freddy.  He is scared of me (hee hee...), little ol' me.  OH yeah, my new name is Barney... kind of cool, Freddy and Barney.  MY sisters are weird, they meow, I really do not understand what they are saying.  I will teach them who is boss soon.  They have a bunch of kids too like you, they are very nice.

Last night I was a bad boy, I cried and barked a bit, I was just lonely. This morning my new mommy gave me a nice bath after daddy took me outside to pee.  What a fool he is, I don't want to pee out there, the grass tickles my thingy!!  I guess I will learn, just to be nice to them.

Today I hear we may go for a small walk. I hope that is nice. Does it ever get warmer than 50 here?  Oh well, I have hair, I will be fine.

Ok, that's all for now, my paws are tired.  Oh yeah, they got me two rattles for my cage, like you said and a collar and a tag.  I think I am on my way to being very spoiled!!

Miss you grandma, I will write soon, maybe some pictures along the way.  Say hello to everyone for me.

Love,

Say hello to all of family and friends at the kennel.  I miss you all.

Hi Phyllis,

If you want to ask any questions about my experience with Bethany, feel free.  I'm in NJ.  I was leery about an internet transaction like this too, and I would probably even question a stranger's email, but I CAN say without hesitation that my experience with Bethany was flawless!  I did not have one single problem.  No matter what, I had some anxiety throughout, but I went with my instincts after thoroughly researching the internet and talking to Bethany at length.  I even requested the brother later, and they flew together.  I'm sure that you are feeling the same way right now.  You feel good about Bethany, but can't help be nervous, because of the way the world can sometimes be.  Don't worry!  Your baby will arrive and your life will be transformed!

Bethany has always answered her phone, called me back or emailed me back every single time, and she still does.  She is very knowledgeable about the breed and always spoke to me for as long as I needed.  She answered every single question I had (and I had a lot) with facts and opinions, and it always enlightened me.

I cannot say enough about our boys, who are the brothers of the puppy in which you are interested.  The breed is wonderful.  They have changed our lives 100%!  We love them so much that we could just 'squeeze them to death'!!    Take a deep breath and exhale, you will experience this too!

Good luck!  Vicki S.

PS  I went ahead and copied this to Bethany.

Bethany,

It's been some time since I was in touch...Baci is the living doll that you always said she was. (She is my baby and my best friend.)

She is so friendly with everyone on east 79th street that they all know her by name.  She has regular play dates (just like when my daughter was young).

Also, Baci just stopped using her crate and began sleeping with me at the foot of the bed about 2 weeks ago.  One night she just froze her body when I went to put her in the crate (and almost forced me to put her in my bed by bucking upward while taut...it happened the next night too.  I knew that Baci weaned herself from the crate and now wanted to be an adult.

Amazing.  Don't know how I would live without her!

Sincerely,

Ruth L.

Dear Bethany,

I just wanted to Thank-You for my WONDERFUL Bolognese puppy, Milo.  He just a joy to have.  Everyone just loves him.  Took him to the vet on Monday and the vet said he is a perfect pup.  You are a very nice person and I will tell everyone about you.  You answered all my question no matter how dumb they may have been.  I can’t tell you the joy you gave my kids that day you brought the puppies to Bloomington.  O.K. I can’t lie I was just as happy.  When you  let us have the puppy sooner than we thought, that was a very nice surprise.  Not too many people these days would go out of their way to  sell a puppy or even try to work around our schedule to delivery them like you did.  My kids and I will miss your e-mails that you sent to let us know how the puppy was doing and the nice pictures also.  You went way out of your way not only for us but for the puppies, to make sure that you placed the right puppy with the right people.  I really believe that all puppies that come from your family are very loved.  I will keep you informed on how he is doing.

Thanks again,

Donna

Hi Millers!

Just wanted to drop you a note saying that we made it through our first night.  We have decided to rename our puppy Milly, and she responds pretty well already.  She has already decided she loves her crate, and spent the night there all on her own.  We papered our bathroom and let her pick her piddle spot, and she is consistently going there.  Anyway I'm sending a picture of our tug of war game earlier and also one of her retreating to her crate once she won!  We already love her so much, and we can't thank you enough for raising her up to be such a wonderful puppy.

Hello Bethany,

We just wanted to drop you a note to say thank you so much for bringing this little bundle of joy into our lives.  We got Jerry from you @ 3 weeks ago and we've decided to rename him Peppy because he's got so much pep in his step and he is responding very well to us all.  The 1st night he took a few hours to get used to us, but needless to say he sleeps in our bed every night now, he has a favorite toy and a special blankie that he has to have at all times. The housetraining is going well, he has a special spot he is used to outside now, so far a couple accidents but nothing we can't handle.  He is just the burst of energy that our family needed, and is soooo spoiled by his mommy first and his daddy's a close second.  He doesn't leave my side, it's so funny, and has such a great personality he fits in here perfectly.

Thank you again and we will send more pics and updates in a few months.

Thank you, Bethany and Family for raising quality, healthy, and temperament puppies and for caring for Sage (Bolognese) and Seth (Chihuahua) until they were old enough to finally come home.  Both are a combination of Tom and my personality, it's like they were created by God for us.  The experiences and time Seth and Sage spent with your family helped to socialize them.  The veterinarian, dog groomer, and everyone that they meet compliment them on their fantastic disposition.  We have very healthy dogs who love to go to the doggy park to kiss and play with other dogs and people of all ages; they love to run and play on wet grass and walking up stairs; Riding in cars and shopping carts, staying still so we can bath them, clip their nails, brush their hair and teeth; and are calm when we Check their belly, Paws, and Ears.

Sage and Seth are full of liveliness, love to cuddle and kiss us, and are very attached to both me and Thomas.  We are glad we found your website and everyday we are reminded how blessed we are to have found you.

Thanks again.  Your continued care and concern for them is heartwarming and we appreciate it. It's not to often that the service and concern after the sale is continued, if we ever get another puppy, it'll be from Jarbeth's Kennel.

She knows all the "good" dog stuff- sit, stay, walk on a leash... She went to the groomer for the first time today- she doesn't like her nails trimmed :) Her favorite activity is running through the sprinklers and carrying every toy she owns outside. (lots of fun for us cuz we have to cart them all back in the house before the sprinklers come on at night and soak them) Thanks again for such a perfect puppy. We have had Billy for about a year now.  He has grown into a beautiful dog.  He makes our lives complete.  I had forgotten how much joy a puppy can bring to your life.  When we get home he always greets us with a toy and if you go shopping he snoops through the bags till he finds a new toy.  Nine times out of 10 there is a new toy but if not he just gets an old one and starts playing with that.  He loves to pull all the stuffing out of them or bring them outside.  His favorite game is peek a boo through his doggie door.  I just wanted to give you an update on how Billy was doing and thank you for bring so much joy into my life.   I thank God for him every day and tell everyone he is the best thing I have ever purchased in my life - including my house, car, and other toys.  My other dogs were not purchased so they don't count.  I don't believe I have ever had anything love me as much as Billy does, he is the light of my life.

We have a Super Star!

We have been taking Pebbles in to the PetsMart groomers for approx 6 months now and after this last time, we were approached about having her photo taken and put on one of their flyer's...Isn't that cool?  Pebbles is going to be a model for PetsMart.  She's also a favorite at her vet's office (which is also inside PetsMart).  Everyone loves her.

Pebbles favorite thing to do is go to the beach and chase seagulls (she doesn't realize that the birds are bigger then she is).  She doesn't like the sandpipers though because she ran after one once and she got hit by a wave.  A little wave, but since she is so tiny, it got her soaked (lol).

When we say "Bang Bang" she plays dead, she rolls over, she sits up pretty, dances and howls like a wolf.  She tilts her head back and everything...it's so cute.

My cat grooms her like Pebbles was her kitten and our kitten and she are like brother and sister.  They wrestle and are great friends.  Pebbles is a true joy in our lives and we think of you guys every time we look at her.  We truly believe, and the vet agreed with us, that her disposition comes from a good home and great breeders.

Thanks again.

I must tell you about this ferocious little thing.  When I took her to the vet yesterday there was a Rottweiler there, that was huge and old.  Cadee was the smallest dog there.  There was a Maltese and a 10 year old Chihuahua.  The Rottweiler was looking at Cadee and she growled at him and started barking at him.  I made the comment that she better stop or that dog was gonna look at her as a beggin' strip.  Everyone was laughing because she was so small and she was the only one growling it was so funny...she is ferocious she is!  We tease her and tell her now when she gets playing that she is a ferocious little thing.  I tell ya she is a true sweetheart.  You all did a wonderful job with her.  She sleeps in the bed with us every night. Hasn't had neither accident on the bed and she knows her name.  She is attacking my feet at the moment.  Oh my does she love to play with feet.

It has been 3 years since we bought little Lion from you.  I remember calling you the day before you were going to ship her to us.  You had an unfortunate barn fire and it sounded like chaos at your house.  All I could hear was barking and kids with questions.  You reassured me that Lion was okay and all the puppies were safe.  The next day we met our new family member at the Syracuse airport and have been in love with her ever since.  She is a "top of the line" puppy.  Such a sweet personality...so easy to train.  I often think of you and wanted to take a few minutes to let you know how grateful we are to have found you and Lion...our sweet little shih-tzu.

Fondly,

Bonnie, Brian, Brittany and Emily D. (and Lion too)

I would be honored to have you put Baxter's letter on your website (see below).  Our Baxter is just the joy of everyone's heart here in our home.  He has made so many great and loving friends and he is truly a little guy with a big dog attitude.  We just adore him and his personality, he gets so excited about the littlest things, which crack us up!!!  He is one lucky puppy!!!

Here is Baxter's letter to us...

FROM: "Baxter".

Hello everybody!!  I'm sorry that my new parents haven't written to tell you about my new home and family.  My mom would like you all to know how much joy I have brought into my new home.  My dad is 55 and has never owned a puppy before me...so I'm sort of spoiled, really bad.

My new cocker spaniel sister thinks she's my mother and I have bonded extremely well to her.  We play and run around like maniacs.  My new cocker spaniel brother loves me too and tolerates me pretty well, but the family thinks he might be suffering from middle child syndrome.  We have to give him special love right now with me in the picture and I am bound and determined to make him adore me.  He does let me eat out of his bowl with him, so he is coming around.

I love the routine here and have adapted so well that I heard my mom and dad say you wouldn't ever know there is another dog in the house, not to mention 3 dogs.  I have a neighbor right next door and guess what?  The lady just got 2 Shih Tzu female puppies....yup, I'm a pretty happy little boy with someone my own age to play with...we visit a few times a week and I go crazy over there too!  My mom made me a red sweater vest to keep me warm, as it's pretty darn cold doing my business outside here in upstate NY.

Just wanted to let you all know that I am extremely loved and very happy in my new home...  My new Vet said you did a great job bringing me into the world.  My mom and dad kiss and hug me all day long, of course when they aren't laughing at me doing something silly.

Bye for now!!!

Baxter

Good morning Troy,

May I know what kind of Shih-Tzu's Sugar's parents are?  Just last night my mom taught Sugar to shake hands and switch to the other hand.  Normally Sugar shakes hands by raising her right paw.  My mom will tell her "the other one" then she switch to the left paw.  So my mom will ask Sugar to switch from right to left then left to right.  It's amazing how she can understand.  And she always listens and is nice to my mom.  She acts like my mom is her mom.

We call her our baby sister (besides from my younger sister).  Sugar gets a lot of exercise from me.  She chases me back and forth in our hallway.  She even made her own trick that I call "the slow motion trick".  She does that slow motion move then she starts chasing me.  Sugar is indeed a wonderful puppy and we owe that to you, Jarbeth's Kennel, for being an excellent and caring breeder.  We are a lucky buyer and owner.

Alec M.

Because of Alec's family's success purchasing a puppy, another member of their family purchsed a puppy from us.  Here is THEIR reference...

Hello Troy and Beth,

It's been almost 2 years since I got my dog, Gizmo from you guys.  I LOVE HIM!  He is the smartest and best dog I have ever had in my life.  Gizmo is Sugar Magalong's brother.  They actually had a reunion before they turned 1, so that was in 2005.

Last year I bought another dog from another breeder, and ended up not getting along w/ that dog.  Right away I saw the difference in how you guys do business and how she did business.  She was VERY unprofessional compared to you guys.  If I were to buy another dog, I don't think I'll be going through anyone else.  Which is part of the reason why I am writing to you today.  I wanted to know if you guys bred Bullmastiff's or English Mastiff's.  That is the next dog my husband and I are looking to buy in the future.  Please let me know.  Thanks.

Sincerely,

Janice A.

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that Sparky is doing great.  He is so loveable and cuddly and a wonderful addition to our family.  He is about 9.2 pounds now and is our "little bear".  He loves his 3 brother and sister cats (Rose, Daisy and Lily) and his family.  I have attached a few photos of him.

I was wondering if you had a photo of his mother and father.  We would like one for our photo album if possible.  You could email it to me.

Thanks a bunch!  Cindy R.

Troy and Bethany,

I purchased a Shih Tzu puppy from you guys 3 years ago, and I wanted to let you know how she's doing.  She has been such a wonderful addition to our household.  She took so well to the other dog we had at the time (a Black Lab mix) and my then 3 year old son.  Everyone who comes in contact with her seems to just fall in love with her.  My husband and I very much want to purchase another Shih Tzu at some point in the future, and I couldn't imagine doing so with anyone besides you guys.  Disco really is a very loved member of the family, and she wouldn't be here if it hadn't been for you guys.

Thanks so much!

January

Thank you for the cute email.  Mac is doing great.  He is such a good puppy; you and your family did a wonderful job.  He has adjusted to our home and us like it was meant to be.  He sleeps with Derek, our 16 year old son.  The first night there was no crying and he goes to the door, fully potty trained.  Mac has brought so much LOVE to us just when we needed it after losing our dog and also not sure I told you lost my Dad in Jan. to cancer  so Mac has really helped me.  We will keep in touch...

Have a wonderful weekend, Jami

GREAT PYRENEES:

TO: Jarbeth's Kennel
FROM: Isabelle (Laura C.'s new puppy)

Hey, it's me Maggie!!  Well, my new mommy has decided to call me Isabelle or Izzy for short - 'cause I'm so sweet!

Well, guess what?  I am doing so good you would not even believe it.  Would you know I haven't had even ONE accident in the house.  Laura is so proud of me.  She says you guys must have worked really hard with me cause I sit when asked to--if she tells me not to touch something in the house, I stop and go find my own toys, etc.  She says that we are a perfect match!!!  She adores me, I can tell.

I have also played on her parent's plantation and - oh my goodness - I had so much fun!!  WE will be going out there a lot!

My new mommy loves to hold and rock me.  She thinks I'm the best thing in the whole world.  We take naps together, go to the park, play in the back yard together and, of course, my favorite, we play at her parents house.  My mommy can't believe how I seem to have a protective nature already!

Anyways, everybody adores me and I just wanted you to know that I am doing well.  I miss you guys, but I will be sending you pictures in the mail, OK?  Tell everyone that I love them and will talk to them later.

Love always,

Your Maggie (a.k.a. Isabelle)

                           Take care, Betty and Chris

Pete and I made it home about 6 am this morning, and had a safe trip.  We stopped at rest areas about every 3 hours and each girl did her business and was very well mannered.  We turned the crate around soon after leaving so we could interact with them, and they just loved the attention.

Once we got home, we went to each field to check on the herd.  The girls followed us like they had been with us all their lives--it was really something to watch.  We found a couple of our bucks with diarrhea and had to get to work soon after arriving home.  They stayed right with us no matter what, and when one of our younger bucks got me on the ground while I was trying to contain him, the girls came to my rescue and started licking my face.  We couldn't be more pleased with our purchase.  We look forward to watching them grow into fine guardians.

Thanks so much for your kindness and hospitality.  You are truly blessed and we feel as much to have met you.  We'll send some pics soon, although I can assure you the nice bath your girls gave them is long gone!

Three year follow up...

Bethany and Troy,

I just finished looking over your web site and was tickled that you used my letter under your reference section.  Our Pyrenees will be 3 this June and I just wanted to share with you how happy we still are with our purchase, and that you trusted us to "rescue" one of your beloved Pyrenees from the family in WV.  All three dogs are working in harmony, and we have never lost a goat to predators because of there constant vigilance.  Everyone who stops by our farm remarks on the beauty and watchfulness of the dogs.  They are surprised that the big, barking mass of white can be so gentle once properly introduced to the visitor.  Anyway, just wanted to send a few pics that show the remarkable patience of this breed.  They are pretty dirty in the pic where the kids are playing king of the mountain--it rained a lot that week.

Thanks again for raising such wonderful guardians.  Hope all is well in Missouri with you and yours.

Sincerely,

Karen and Pete M.

I am with Prairie right now (though we've re-named her Lucy), and I couldn't be a happier woman on earth.  She is already the love of my life.  She is happy, playful, silly, obedient, and gorgeous.

Thank you for answering all of my many questions throughout this process, and for socializing this little girl to be the happiest puppy on earth.  You have been very kind, fair, humane and wonderful breeders and I am so happy I found your website!

Thank you again and I will be in touch soon.

Hello,

I wanted to let you know that Baron is doing just fine.  Mark and I love him to death, he is just as cute as he looked in his pictures. He is getting along just fine with our other animals.  He loves to play with our other dog.  He also loves going on a walks to the park.  I will try to send you a picture of what he looks like now.  We have taken him to the vet a few times now for his rounds of shots and he is very healthy.  He now weighs 9lbs.  Well we hope all is well with your family!

Thanks for the addition to ours!!

Hello,

Just thought we would let you know our new Lhasa pup is such a sweetie!!  We really enjoy her!!  Her name is now Penny, she has had a first bath and also enjoys our 15 year old Persian black cat, Pooh bear.  He doesn't quite know what to think of her yet though, but he is coming around.  We have been amazed that she does love to potty outside and does very well in her crate at bedtime, we don't hear a sound out of her!  Thank you for our sweet new baby!

Christina

Just quick note to let you know that Thunder is doing great.  As you can see by the attached photo, he is kept busy by the littlest grandson (to the oldest).  Everyone just adores him, he has quite the personality.  He is still somewhat reluctant to walk on a leash, but he loves to ride in the car.  He gets along really well with shadow (our cat).  He made in perfectly clear who was boss the minute he entered the house.  She lets him get away with it.

Just wanted to let you know how please I am with Thunder.  Great personality and a loveable little fella.

THANKS SO MUCH..... JANET IN CORNING

Dear Jarbeth

We met you over in Rolla to pick up Royal. We bought her for our elderly parents. They have renamed her Abbey.  She has been a very active and friendly dog.  Your daughter must have done a good job raising her.

She has made dramatic changes in there lives.  They our both crazy about her and treat like a kid.  She has added much activity to their lives.  My stepmother has lost weight keeping up with her and my dad appears to be more alert and his motor skills have appeared to have gotten better.

All conversations with them usually revolve around the latest adventures of Abbey.

When we picked Abbey up we told you we would be interested in one of your Lhasa's.  Please let us know when you have another female with colorings similar to Abbey.

RETIRED ADULTS:

Bagel is a "retired" Pomeranian.  He was too big for us to use, but was a terrific dog, so we found him a home:

I would love to give you some photos of Bagel to use on your website. I think promoting older dogs is great....

It sure has been a success story.  Friends of mine were worried about my cat too...but she has actually been a much happier cat with Bagel around.  They both sleep on the bed with me.  He bonded with me almost immediately and it has been a love story from the beginning.

Cheers and Licks!

Ps. Please tell Canadians that it is very easy to drive across the border, pick their puppy at the nearest international airport and drive home as most Canadian cities are near the border anyway.
